For over 40 years, the Washington Metropolitan Area Chapters of the Order of AHEPA and the Daughters of Penelope have honored high school seniors affiliated with the AHEPA family or the Greek Orthodox Church who have achieved excellence in academic; athletic, civic, and cultural endeavors. Thus far, this Program has honored 1,418 students and awarded $702,525 in scholarships. Last year, 25 students were honored and received a total of $29,400 in scholarships.
